It turned into bars when I removed the gray background color, by marking with the Magic Wand on my blinds, and pressing “Delete”. (See post easy stripes). Gave the rest an Inner Bevel, Used Colorize to shade the bars. Brush Stroke makes the bars a bit worn to look at. Then Hot Wax Coating and lightened them with Curves. Then I put them in a new layer over a picture of Gollum
NOTE. The foreground color should always be white when using Hot Wax Coating
